Not sure how we are -- just exhausted

After getting up this morning at 4:45 (!) so I could feed the dogs and horses before we headed out to Ochsner, the day just got more and more and more complicated.  I sat there worrying while Mark had his heart cath and that stent put in, then eventually we went upstairs to his hospital room.  I sat there for a little while, then I headed in to work to try and get finished up for those filings tomorrow and Friday.  That WOULD have worked well, except that the computer at the office started giving me fits.  Once a document is complete, I need to print it to pdf in order to upload it to the Patent Office and no matter what print driver I used, it refused to print.  So not only are the documents not ready to file, they aren't in any shape to e-mail to the inventors so they can check out the drafts.  Grrrrr.  So I was stuck there until 5.  Then I drove home (15 miles South of the office), let all the dogs out, fed the horses, and climbed back into the truck and drove back out to the hospital (another 18 miles).

Mark was feeling okay, but he was in a really bad mood - he's afraid that if he can't go back to work Tuesday he may end up having to have a physical to go back and could end up out of a job.  Well, that might not be a good thing, but it sure would be better than going offshore and ending up having an emergency that can't be dealt with from out there.  I'd sure rather have him unemployed than dead!

So anyway - since there wasn't a darned thing I could do to make him feel any better, I just came on home.  I wanted to talk to Wendy, but I'm just going to go to bed.  I need to get up at 5 tomorrow morning (AGAIN) so that I can get to work by 7 so I can leave around 1 to go pick Mark up and bring him home.

I should probably go back to work after that, but hey . . . that's just NOT going to happen.  I've had about all I can take on that.  I worked for three solid days on those drawings and had them ALMOST done and what happened? . . . they sent another batch of them to be added to the FORTY THREE pages I already had done.  ENOUGH!

Obviously Mark isn't the only one who isn't in a good mood at the moment.  But maybe once I get some sleep . . .

Sigh.
