When Mark plans to complete some project outside, it never fails to pour down rain. Sunday was gorgeous, but it's been raining ever since so fence construction is on "hold" once again. (Not a good thing for the Mardi Gras parades either.)
He and Jerry did clean out all the horse stalls this morning and took Mark's car over to the repair shop to fix the mess that resulted when he ran over "whatever" on his way home the other night, but there will be no mowing or fence building today, that's for sure. On the plus side, Mark WILL get to kick back and relax instead of working himself to death until the rain stops. (Hmm. Maybe he's been meditating using the phrase "it's going to rain . . . it's going to rain . . . it's going to rain. . ." I'll have to ask him about that.)
Joyce is there cleaning today, but I didn't get all the surfaces cleared off before she came so there will no doubt be a LOT of stuff I can't find when I get home. She can't just lift them up and dust under them, oh no -- she feels she has to "put away" any clutter. Unfortunately, she doesn't know where anything actually belongs, so it could be months before I happen across whatever I might have left sitting out! Sigh.
