Mark thinks they're going to let him come home today. I've sure got my fingers crossed! He does seem pretty well now. With that awful tube out of his stomach and those meds being pumped into him only a couple hours a day (not all the time anymore) -- WAY better. And he's been getting up and walking short distances several times a day since they unfastened him from that medicine pump, too. But Wednesday this week would be a full FOUR weeks in the hospital for him! Please, please, PLEASE let him get home at least by then.
I've been going back to work lately, but I know I'm way out of PTO so who knows how much money we'll be out of with my time off combined with his hospital charges. Whew! Well, I'd rather not think about that just yet!
Okay, time to go to work so I'll be able to get off early enough to go pick up Mark if they let him out by noon. I hope, I hope, I hope . . .
