They are beginning Mark's surgery now. Vickie and I were told it will probably take 1 to 2 hours. They will initially attempt to deal with it laporascopically, but if the simple "twist" that they saw in his x-rays aren't all there is, he will have to get a full incision. They said they would let us know what's happening hourly so I'm going to be nervous for a WHILE now! Sure hope it gets done laporascopically so he can come home very very soon! I'll keep you posted.
