Well, they did remove all the adhesions (scar tissue) caused by his 40-year-past gallbladder surgery. But his surgeon left his incision open so that he can take him back into surgery tomorrow afternoon to see if the "dark spots" in several places on his colon are "reddening up" or getting worse. If they are going back to normal he will just get closed up. But if they're worse, that portion of his colon will have to be removed. I'm glad his surgeon is giving him the chance NOT to have that portion of his colon removed, because if that turns out not to be necessary he will be completely back to normal a LOT sooner. So let's all cross our fingers over the next 24 to 30 hours.
