Almost over --

Well, the cardiology guy I went to see yesterday is NOT going to have to do anything about my heart, thank goodness!  Well - probably not.  I wore one of those heart monitors until this afternoon, so once they check that out we'll know for sure, but if there's no serious action found they'll leave me alone for six more months (then I need to go back for a re-check), but hopefully everything will be better by then since my jaw infection is pretty much cleared up as far as I can tell.  It's FINALLY going to be a wonderful long weekend!

 

I'm having trouble getting someone out here to divide up the dog yard, though.  I guess they're all taking vacations over the long weekend because no one wants to come out and give me a bid until the end of next week!  The guy who did the bid for the fencing we had done last week WAS here already, but in his case we still haven't gotten an estimate so I was hoping to get a price from some of the other fencing outfits.  I've called four of them, but none can come out for at least a week!  Gees!

 

Oh - as for that snake, we're pretty sure it's a Texas Rat Snake so he's in for total safety from us!  We definitely want him to eat ALL the little mice he can find!

Well, time to go make a garlic butter/cheese lunch sandwich -- we got a sample of one of those over at Sam's yesterday and bought all that stuff.  Yum!
