Shopping today worked well for the dogs . . .

I planned just to go over to Walmart and pick up some food and coffee, but I stopped off at Tuesday Morning on the way back.  I ended up buying all KINDS of things - one of which was a super-large "sofa" dog bed.  I thought it would be great for Boo since he's really too big for those dog beds we have.   He would fit into that new bed really well - if he gets a chance. 

 

Rocky hasn't climbed into bed yet here, but he usually sleeps over there in that bed by the front window.

 

Joey generally wants to be covered with a blanket no matter WHERE he sleeps.  So I got him a new blanket at Tuesday Morning today, too. 

 

 

 

But although I got that new giant dog sofa bed for Boo, it took Joey about 30 seconds to decide it would be HIS bed instead!

 

 

He loves that thing!  I'm thinking maybe tomorrow I'll go visit another of the Tuesday Morning stores and see if they have another one or two of those giant beds.  It really does look incredibly comfy, doesn't it? 

 

And I'm still trying to figure out what I can put inside that huge crate in the bedroom since that's where Boo has begun sleeping when I'm not there.  When I get ready to go to bed, he comes out of the crate and climbs up on the bed, but when I'm not around he just stays inside the crate -- probably so Joey can't harass him.  So I think it would be good if I could find something to make the crate floor nice and soft. 

 

I thought maybe I'd get a crib mattress for in there if one of those is large enough.  (I'll have to check.)  If not, maybe I'll go visit one of the local mattress makers and see if they could make me a foam rubber mattress the exact size of that crate for a reasonable price.

 

I put that new dog bed out there in the living room since it's pretty close to the same color as our sofa.
(It's olive green - but it doesn't look like it in this picture, does it?)
That should be enough out there in the living room since there is that that giant pillow that Boo is laying on in this pic,  as well as the sofa chaise that I keep a blanket over so they can sleep up on there as well.
