Okay - when Mark called his heart doctor yesterday and told him about his ER visit and what had happened, he told him he didn't need to see him until his existing appointment next Monday! I guess that's a good thing since it indicates that Mark isn't in too much trouble. (We both needed reassured.)
Shaun is back today putting up a horse stall door. I ordered a solid-core door from Home Depot that's a full 4 feet wide and 9 feet tall! So they're cutting it in half to make a Dutch stall door. Cool! So I've been trying to find a metal fabrication place to make metal edge covers because the door isn't completely solid wood except around the edge. So when you cut it in half across the center, those middle edges need to be protected from water - and horses! Mark isn't happy to think he needs to take half a door over there so they can make the edge metal to fit correctly, but I think that's a whole lot easier than having to "adjust" those metal edges if they aren't exactly the right size. Whatever. Sooner or later they will all actually have doors on their stalls! Finally!
Saw a note on FaceBook that Cass had to go to the ER up in Dayton on Saturday night for an "A-Fib" incident, too. But apparently HER ER had more fun than Mark's did. Here's what she said on FaceBook about what she did when they told her that HER heart beat had evened out:
I was sitting up in bed, hooked up to monitors, etc. and the nurse came in and pronounced that I was "in rhythm". So I started snapping my fingers and singing "I've got rhythm"......they must think I'm nuts.
Sure wish ALL of our friends and relatives lived in the same area. We could be having SO much more fun! I really miss everyone up in Ohio -- but not the state itself. Sigh.
