Still more progress . . .

Got to work early today.  It was 87 degrees outside at 7:30 AM so it's actually GOOD to be here at work where I always need a sweater!  I do have a lot to do here today.  Then either tonight or Saturday morning I'm going to go over to Termini Tile and see about buying enough FORMICA to cover the bottom 3 feet of the bedroom walls!  We'll put chair rail on the top of that and it should look okay. AND Joey will NOT be able to eat that!  Haven't had to buy sheets of Formica for a decade or more so I have no idea what the stuff costs these days.  But regardless, it'll probably be less than repairing those walls on a regular basis!

The guy who graded our back pasture came by yesterday to take a look at that land next door.  He said he would be able to clear that entire four acres of "family land" for something like $2500.  NOT a bad price for all that needs done over there!  I don't think Mark has told Bruce and John about it yet (he was just here last evening), and we don't know yet whether they've completed the purchase agreement, or when they plan to close, let alone whether they would want that done right now.  Oh, well -- it probaby has to stop raining before he can do that stuff anyway.  And if that's the case, it could be "a while."

David didn't get back over yesterday, so Mark went ahead and installed that stall window between Arthur's and Lizzie's stalls.  But Arthur doesn't seem to understand what it is yet -- he continues to try and see Lizzie through that little gate in the corner of his stall instead of just looking straight through that window.  Very odd.  Hope he figures it out soon.

Well, better get on with all these jobs.

Later . . .
