Help is coming!

At long last Mark will be coming home by the time I leave for work tomorrow morning.  I cannot begin to say what a relief that is!  As time goes on, I keep getting more and more and MORE incapacitated.  It used to be just one leg that hurt when I bent over and then tried to stand back up.  Now it hurts all the way around my back and leg every time I move at all -- sometimes even if I'm just sitting.  Maybe I overdid it while I was on the steroids last week since I wasn't feeling any pain to speak of then.   But the worse it gets now, the more I begin to wonder if it's not some kind of retribution for how disgusted I used to get at dad's second wife when she complained all the time about HER pain!  Hmmmm.  Karma?   Not good.

Tomorrow afternoon is Joey's final exam by the ortho group over at LSU.  I'm sure they'll be satisfied with his condition.  He seems completely recovered from his surgery at this point.  He  even stands on the leg that was operated on and lifts the OTHER leg when he goes out these days!  Now THAT is "well," right?

Anyway, once Mark gets home, I'm going to try and cut back on ALL activity for the rest of the week.  I want to see if that will help me feel little better by the time I go for that evaluation at physical therapy on Saturday.   Even if it doesn't make the pain go away, maybe it will at least narrow it down enough to make it easier to figure out the source of the problem.

We'll see.
