Mary rings my bell again . . .

It so frequently feels as if the postings on Mary Muncil's White Feather Farm blog are directed to me personally.  (I think most of her readers probably feel the same way!)  But I imagine my daughter will be particularly pleased that I felt a real connection to this quote Mary posted last week on her son's 30th birthday:

Like the wise words from Kahil Gibran,
"Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You may give them your love but not your thoughts...”

Good quote, huh Wen?  Of course, that's not to say you'll never get an opinion from me again.  But at least it will probably cross my mind that I have no reason to expect that you will pay any attention to me!

Okay - back to work    (IN THE AIR CONDITIONING!! Yeaaaa!)
