I'm holding my breath . . . they say it's supposed to rain most of this weekend, but I have my fingers crossed. I'm hoping it will hold off at least a day or so. Mark is scheduled to go in Monday morning to have his heart arrhythmia "fixed" so he won't be doing anything for a while after that probably, so let it rain THEN, not this weekend!
We're going to go pick up all those pasture and paddock gates down at Sacs on Saturday so Mark is going to go get that magnet roller thing tomorrow so Jerry can spend the time while we're gone clearing the paddocks of leftover nails and other metal trash. (Better to pick the stuff up with that thing than to wait and have to pry things out of the horses' feet later, that's for sure.)
I'll be so glad when this week is over. It's got to be stressful for Mark to have to work so hard at getting all this stuff done over the weekend while knowing he has to go in Monday for that heart procedure. It's definitely scary to me. And anytime I try and help he seems to think I'm interfering with the way he wants to do things and he gets all pissy so apparently he's a bit stressed as well. So . . . three more days and hopefully we can both kick back a bit. One thing about it -- it DOES remind us that all this work is really not all THAT important in the big scheme of things.
