"Home" for a time . . .

We are REALLY enjoying spending time with my family in absolutely perfect weather up here in Ohio.  I think it's probably in the 70's with bright sunshine.  Lovely.  On Sunday afternoon we ate out at a place called Burkey's where they have a buffet that includes lovely omelets that they make as you watch containing absolutely anything you like.  Yum.  We all sat around in there for a good while, then headed over to Dale and Shirley's for the rest of the day!  Really enjoyed the day.

When we hit town Saturday night, we stayed at a Best Western which is generally just fine.  But NOT this one.  The bathroom sink drain didn't.  Every channel on the TV was fuzzy.  The internet access worked for about 10 minutes.  Then the only one we could see was from the Holiday Inn next door for which of course we had no password!  That especially was NOT good for me since I AM a definite internet addict.  And THEN -- after the plumber left -- there were ants crawling around the bathroom floor . . . on the FOURTH floor.  So, we checked out Sunday morning and moved in with Wendy.  But that was a good thing since it's very nice to wake up and sit around having coffee with her and Sammy in the morning!
Sam the Man !

We stopped at Kentucky Horse Park on our way up and took some pictures, among others, but I haven't been able to find my card adapter (which I stashed SOMEWHERE in my bags) so I haven't been able to upload any pictures taken with my real camera -- just my phone.   Oh, well -- maybe later.

Now it's time to go get dressed and decide what to do for the day today.  Lovely.
