I'll spare you the details, but I'm hoping once I see the doctor again this afternoon I'll be allowed to go back to work . . . and the barn! At this point, I think I should probably be more concerned about the radiation from no fewer than 12 x-rays over the last month than this week's specific problems! Whew! I'd probably say my doctor has some sort of "x-ray auto response" except that she's been my doctor for 14 years and that has never been the case in the past, so they must have been justified. But she certainly knows me "inside and out" -- literally! -- at this point!
I'll tell you what, I've been telling myself (and everyone else, for that matter) how anxious I am to retire. Well, I'm discovering that maybe that's NOT the case . . . I'm going to be very glad to get back to work!
