EVERYTHING is back again!

On the plus side, I finally got my truck back this week.  It has finally been repaired after it got hit last month.  It's gotten entirely fixed back up now and it's looking as good as ever again!

And last night Buddy brought Gigi back home again, too.  We thought they would be keeping her forever.  But since their home got covered with water after the storm last week (and it's STILL full of water) they'll apparently need to stay over with Lisa's mom for quite a while longer until they can get that home fixed back up.  So they returned Gigi to us for that reason.
Silly girl is just sleeping out there on the back porch today.  I guess having gotten those heartworm injections she's a whole lot sleepier.  Well, she has to have one more injection next week - and after that she just gets heartworm shots each few months so heartworm issue isn't EVER going to happen in the future.  (Way better than giving her heartworm PILLS because that sure didn't work!)

We were glad to get her back since Boo had died a week or more ago.  We had to keep her away from him since he was SO old.  But now she has access to the entire big back yard and can come inside now.   And we did get Boo's cremation package yesterday.  So it'll be added into that cabinet full of all our other previous dogs, cats, and horse cremation packets.  They get to go with me wherever once I die, as well!

We also got a new flood insurance  as well.  Given the issue that SO many homes have been covered in water around here over the last week or so, we bought that flood insurance today in case that happens to US next time.  If the water comes up PAST our porch and into the house we'll definately need that flood insurance! . . . but thankfully we actually didn't have to have any this time anyway.

But when we changed our home insurance two years ago, we lost our previous flood insurance then and we didn't remember to find another one at that time.  So we're really pleased to have some flood insurance again now because if the house gets flooded anytime now that we're retired, we sure wouldn't be able to afford to pay to get the house repaired without some assistance! So I'm really glad flood insurance is available again now.  Whew!

Well, so many things have changed over the last few weeks. But most have been actually OKAY these days.  Thank goodness!
