We keep hearing how awful the weather is up north around our families (Ohio, Pennsylvania and DC) and it is SO much nicer down here in Louisiana! It's been up around the high 70's and low 80's all this week without rain -- nice and clear and sunny with a nice bit of wind.
Since today is Sunday (and not package delivery), we've locked the front gate and let the horses out there into the front yard again. They love it out there and WE love having them up there in front as well.

It's been lovely that we could sit out on the front porch and watch them out there in front. They've been hanging out up there all day long. (Sure glad we have this nice place to live!)
