Uh-oh! Storm coming for DAYS . . .

It's been pretty nice over the last week or two, but beginning tonight? . . .  NOT good!

Well, I guess we'll find out if that pipe we got put into the pond last weekend will let water out of our pond and into the canal very well when it pours this week!  We hope!

Over the past few days since the visiting family guys have returned home we've been letting the horses out into the front yard.  We love it -- and so do they!  We can watch them from our front porch.  That's really nice.

The view of the horses from the front porch is nice --  and the folks
driving by seem to like them as well since they tend to
like being out near the road by those Magnolia trees.  ;-D

There's Duke licking at Arthur for a long time one day out there under the Magnolia.
And Arthur obviously was extremely pleased that Duke was doing that!

Lately birds follow all of them around while they're eating.
And the horses don't seem to mind at all!

There are John, Mark and Mike out there on the front porch on Saturday

Thought I better add a photo of Mark and Mike since Mike was behind that bush in the photo above!

See, it WAS nice lately.  But I guess we'll be inside all this week while it pours down rain.  Yuk.

And the horses will also be inside THEIR barn as well.  We used to close them inside their paddocks when the rain was scheduled, but now when it starts to rain, they all race back in there instantly.  Great!

There they all are the last time it rained.
Well, I guess I'll head back out on the porch and watch the horses this afternoon since I won't get a chance to do that again anytime soon since it's going to start raining this evening -- and over at least the next FOUR days.  And I hear an occasional thunder already!  Well, I can enjoy the porch for a while anyway.

Later . . .
