Thanksgiving has been terrific in all ways . . .

First of all, we had dinner over at Jan and Mike's house (along with Mike's mom and brother as well).  It was a VERY nice afternoon!   Mark and I both really enjoyed it.  They sure do cook wonderfully!

And the weather has gone back to "normal" down here as well -- mid-70's instead of the temperature being way down near freezing as it had been over most of the past week.

And since Mark took Boo over to AVS (our dog vets) yesterday, Boo was feeling pretty good tonight since they provided him with appropriate drugs.  And feeding the dogs and the horses and the mule were no problem at all this evening.  It WAS a lot later than usual when we got home a bit late, but they were all really excited about seeing us home and feeding them late anyway!

So it's been a really nice day.

Now tomorrow? . . . well, let's see how it goes.  Since Vicki and John are coming down to stay with us over Christmas beginning December 17 we need to get on with it upstairs and get that whole area into decent shape.  We've been putting it off because we don't really have to be up there if we don't feel like it, so we really haven't had to get on with it.  But with Vickie and John coming before Christmas, and Wendy and Gerard coming at Christmas and after, well . . . we better get on with it up there, that's for sure, because everyone visiting us will need to be staying up there, and I sure wouldn't want ANYONE to have to hang out up there the way it's looking now.  Gees!  So I really need to get on with it upstairs starting tomorrow.  Well, it's getting close to midnight right now, so I'm heading off to bed without dealing with anything tonight.

But hey -- tomorrow is another day and I WILL get started getting all those bookcases tidied up up there.  So time to go to bed and dream about making it lovely.
