As I backed out of the garage to head out to work this morning, there were a PAIR of Armadillos paying absolutely NO attention to me at all! It took me a while to dig out my camera and get out of the car to take their pictures, but they never bothered to move at all. It was just beginning to get light at the time so the photos aren't all that clear, but still . . .
While I was at it, I took a couple pictures of those Photinia bushes that we had that guy cut all the way to the ground last month, too.
We had those bushes cut all the way to the ground and they looked like they were completely dead at the time! But they're already back to normal again already. And by the end of the summer they'll probably be fence high AGAIN. But this time I hope we will remember to keep them cut back on a regular basis. We really don't want them to be 10 feet high any more like they were this spring.
That's a six foot high fence, so they look like they were even taller than 10 feet! |
Oh - and speaking of progress around our place . . . here are some current photos (taken last weekend) of the house going up across the street from Vickie and John's property next door to us:
That really is going to be a gorgeous house, isn't it? And HUGE! Homes on that side of the road are required to be at least 2500 square feet, but I imagine that one is way more than that! Lovely.
