Wow! . . . GREAT play!

Mark and I went to see "Annie" last night just because my boss and his dog, Khayenne, and one of the guys I work with were in the play.  Well, as it turned out, it was the best play I've seen in decades!  The kids were just amazing.

We weren't allowed to take pictures, but when I told John that I was really disappointed about that, he said "Oh, a photographer took pictures of just about everything - except when Khay came across the stage by herself and picked up Annie's glove."  Too bad they didn't get that one, but Khay IS in a lot of the pictures with Annie.  So check out all those photos on Davis C. Hotard Photography on Facebook

Here are some of my favorites:

Khay was so good.  There was often so much chaos, but she never acted incorrectly.

All those kids were SO good - and they were almost all under 10 - some closer to 5!

Steve (on the right) played President Roosevelt through the end -
but he did several other things earlier in the play.

There's John playing a policeman.
He also played several other people at different times.

Khay was SO good . . .

They were so cute together . . .

You know, they keep adding additional days because every one of those plays had been sold out.  And they just added one last day if you are interested in going.  Here's the note I got:

One encore performance of Annie has been added to the calendar. Tickets went on sale a few minutes ago.

The initial three-week run sold out.  The run was extended, a fourth week was added.  It sold out too.

One encore performance is now being added: Saturday, June 28 at 7:30 p.m.  That's it.  There will be no further additions to the schedule.

Tickets will sell quickly.  Go to the theatrebr.org website if interested.

If you need to know where the theater is (we did have trouble finding it), it's on the street directly BEHIND the old Bon Marche mall.  We thought it was in the mall (well, it is actually, but you have to go in from the back), but when we asked a police officer there where it was, he didn't know!  So it took us a while to find it.

Well, thank heaven it's Thursday - just one more day and I can sleep in!  (We didn't get to bed last night until after midnight.  And five hours sleep just isn't enough for me!)

But I need to get back to work for a while anyway . . .
