Got a note today from Jackie's foster dad -- he and the founder of that New Orleans bulldog rescue will BOTH be coming up next weekend bringing both Jackie AND Bettie (a female Cane Corso) to see which would be best for me. Here are some pictures of Bettie. (She's a bit smaller than Jackie, apparently.)

Of course those of you who know me, probably aren't going to be very surprised that I'm actually hoping that BOTH of them can move in! But I'll try not to get too carried away until they decide what might be appropriate. Now if Joey just isn't too much of a bozo while they're here . . . . (Boo and Rocky are no doubt going to be just fine.)
I'm going to check with John and see if he'll be available to let us in over at Runnels Preschool while they're here if they would find that appropriate.
I'm trying very hard not to get too excited until they decide that I would be an appropriate mom. But that's taking a LOT of effort!
