Given that tomorrow is my birthday, I've gotten two "free dinner" e-mails, one from Roberto's just down the road from us, and the other from Texas de Brazil! Yum!
And then there's our anniversary Morton's restaurant visit we haven't made yet this year -- we ALWAYS have dinner there for our anniversary but we haven't gotten a chance to get down there this month between both Mark's and my doctor's appointments and all the work on the barn and the land. But this coming weekend is going to be really nice so I hope we get a chance to go down there finally. But if we don't, there's always NEXT weekend. A second "Mark" weekend to look forward to. ;-D
I'll tell you what, I keep coming across news articles about dogs close to death who have been rescued and then have become truly priceless pups. Check out this story about "Xena, the Warrier Puppy." She's a pitbull who came incredibly close to death. But once her life was saved, she totally changed the life of an autistic little boy. It's a wonderful story.
And speaking of "wonderful stories," I'm dying to know what Wendy is up to these days. Haven't heard what she did last weekend, or what she has in mind for the upcoming weekend. I'll tell you what, I keep getting more and more nosy! It's driving me crazy!
