Always plenty to do . . .

Well actually we should have already repaired the fence between the dog yard and the paddock -- the one that got crushed by that tree that fell during hurricane Isaac -- but there is always something that needs done more (we think).  But now Arthur has discovered that if he sticks his head over between the chain link and the rope holding the chain link fence up high enough to keep the dogs in that he can then swing his head in circles and scratch his neck in all directions!

And when I shouted at him to STOP, he just turn and stared at me for a minute . . . before continuing to looosen the rope!

Then when I checked back a few minutes ago to see if Arthur was still pulling that fence apart out there, I found both Arthur and Duke over at that side gate where Duke got out last week.  But thankfully Duke wasn't shoving on it today, though -- just staring out like he was dreaming of trotting off down the road again but couldn't.  Sigh.

Maybe one day we'll win the lottery and get a couple hundred acres for them to explore.

Maybe!
