Duke and the "Dune" . . .

Well, Mark just called and to tell me the sand to cover that mud in the paddocks was just delivered.  We had decided to have it dumped along the fence between Duke's and Lizzie's paddocks because that's the muddiest spot, and because putting it there would make it easier to spread it out into both paddocks down the road.  So that's where the guy put it all right.  But now that sand is in a pile a good four feet tall right ON that red steel fence panel, and Mark said Duke is standing there staring intently at it.  So I'm just HOPING he doesn't decide to get a running start and try and go OVER the fence via that sand pile!  I guess I'll use a heavy steel rake or a shovel tonight when I get home and try and lower that pile at the fence line - at least on Duke's side.  I'd hate for him to decide to try and run over that pile, sink down and get a leg caught in that steel panel!

I'll tell you what - if it's not one thing, it's another!  Or maybe I just worry too much?  (I guess it's "too much" if what I'm worrying about doesn't happen.  But if it does? . . . )
