Monday night . . .

There are tornado warnings out for this area until after midnight tonight, so all the horses are inside again.  The main pasture has those huge power line towers with multiple electric lines and I didn't want to take a chance on one of them ending up on the ground near the horses if a tornado came through.  Hard to know what exactly is actually going on outside tonight.  The weather channel is saying it's 50 degrees out, but in fact it is HOT.  Feels more like the upper 70's at least, with lots of heavy wind gusts.  But now that everyone is tucked in inside, I think I'm going to go to bed early and quit worrying about it.  I lost my voice today so I made a doctor appointment tomorrow mid-morning.  If I can manage to get up early, I'll go in to work early to make up some of that time -- so early to bed it is.

Torri said she'd take those horse magazines I need to clear out, so I'm going to gather them all up and haul them over to her this weekend.  Should clear the surfaces of at LEAST three tables, I'd say.

Oh -- Torri gave me a riding lesson from someone she pet sits for!  What a sweetheart!  I'm going to give the teacher a call tomorrow and set it up -- IF I have my voice back, that is.  I definitely NEED some lessons, that's for sure -- as do Lizzie and Bug, for that matter.  I'm really looking forward to it!
