Talked to Mark last night and we're thinking maybe WE should be the Louisiana distributor for HayHut. We'll pick up the one from Houston and give it a try. Then if we love it as much as we think we will, maybe we'll get with the company and see about selling them! I'd love to think we could do something to allow all the horses around here to have 24/7 access to nice clean, dry hay. AND that might make it possible for us to get a few more for ourselves at a lower price. Or maybe we can talk Al into selling them! He does have experience as a car dealer and a restaurant owner so he might be better at it than we would be. Or maybe one of our horsey friends . . . Torrie and Daniel? . . . Janet and Mike? . . .
When I talked to the equestrian center in Houston where we're going to get one, the owner said someone was coming to pick up the last two from her this week but that she would be restocked in just a few days. So she obviously isn't stocking dozens of them at a time, but just re-ordering as they sell.
Hmmm.
