Lizzie was my main reason for requesting a visit from Dr. Cleveland. I wanted him to check out her neck since she's been holding it strangely ever since I got her three years back. Her vet thought there might be a spinal issue. But as it turns out according to her new chiropractor, her problem is in her right HIP, NOT her neck. He says she holds her neck forward and low to affect the movement in her hip take some of the weight off of it. Wow! Who knew?!
And I have to tell you, Lizzie absolutely LOVED having him "adjust" her! She stood quietly, licking and chewing and closing her eyes. Toward the end she actually looked like she was sleeping as he pushed and pulled and poked at her. Amazing.
I actually got fewer videos of Lizzie's visit with him than I did of Duke's because I was busier watching with her. But here is Dr. Cleveland working with Lizzie at least for a couple minutes.
Now I just have to manage to get out there and work with the two of them every day. (Come on, cortisone -- start working, would ya?) I had to pass on a visit to Zoilo's to ride Arthur tomorrow, too -- AGAIN. Darn!
