I spent the morning at the barn filling feed containers for the horses. I got over there about 7:30. But by 8 I was dripping wet with sweat. So since Torri's horses were inside that (metal) barn for some reason I turned on their fans and left them on when I left for home about 9. At 10 Al called, yelling at me for running up his electric bill by $100 a month! What! Now I KNOW how he is. I should have just agreed with him and ended the call, but oh, no . . . silly me. I HAD to tell him that there was a note on the box they came in saying that the cost was only 3 cents a day. Whew! Talk about ticked off. He threw an absolute hissy fit, eventually -- to my relief -- slamming the phone down.
Oh, Mark. Pleeeeease finish our barn soon. I SO want to get away from that place! But at least Al is seldom out there in the barn when I go over there, so I guess it's just a matter of remembering NOT to answer the phone next time. Still, I cannot WAIT to have our horses all here at home where they can live the best possible lives without anyone interfering with that.

Oh, I hope you get your barn done soon too! I am so glad I have my horse and donkey in my back yard. I hear so many of my friends that have their horses boarded tell all kinds of stories. Good luck!!!
