Solution!

Talked to my boss this morning (the one with the two Goldens pictured back on my May 13 post) about my pack intro qualms.  He suggested I do it the way he did when Khayenne arrived:  Take everyone over to a local preschool that is not presently in session and whose grounds are an appropriate size and well fenced.  Put Joey inside the fence, then put the other dogs on their leashes and walk outside until they "discover" the new kid.  Then let them sniff each other through the fence and run up and down for a few minutes.  Once it looks like they just want to play together, then turn the other dogs loose inside the fence with Joey one at a time and let them play for a while on "neutral ground."  Perfect!  John even said he would meet us over there and help with the intros.  Excellent!   That way if there's anyone there at the school doing renovations or something while it's out of session, he will be able to "run interference" since his family owns the largest private schools in town and he would know anyone in the private school business.

So -- one problem solved.  Now I just have to get the house straightened up and all the food prepared for the weekend and we're all set!
