Half way through the week . . . already!

Long day!  But it's over and we're half way to the weekend already. 

 

Went to work at 7, then spent an hour at physical therapy as soon as I got off.  Then as soon as I got home from there, the two men from the security firm that I called about security camera installation came by and we discussed where the cameras should go until 7 this evening! 

 

The final decision was EIGHT cameras.  Whew!  They're going to e-mail me the bid in the next day or two.  Darned good thing it's coming by e-mail -- that way I can be sure that I'll be sitting down when I read it!! 

 

It probably will be expensive, but I'm really hoping there is some possible way we can afford to have them do their thing.  He showed us how it works at his home on his iPhone! . . . .  Once they get those cameras installed, they are viewable not only on the monitor that comes with them, but also on your TV AND your computer AND your phone (either an iPhone or a Droid).  He has 5 of them on his house and they're all visible on his phone on a single page when he first opens it up.  Then you can tap any one of them and it will come up full page so you can watch whatever is happening there "live."  Love it!  

 

So keep your fingers crossed and let's just really hope we can afford to get them put in!  If we do get them, everyone in our family will be able to go online and watch what's going on around here any time they like (especially the horses).

Well, I better hurry up and get ready for bed.  Gotta get to work really early tomorrow again since Cox will be coming out to change out everything around here (phone, TV, internet) and I would really really like to be here while they're doing that.
