Wendy flew into New Orleans on Saturday afternoon, then yesterday (Christmas day) we drove over to Opelousas to visit Mark's sister Judy and her family for Christmas. I wasn't feeling all that great, but it was still nice. Then today Mark's other sister Vickie and her husband John who had come down from DC last weekend flew back to DC. John needed to go back to work, and Vickie had a meeting tomorrow in, I think, Florida. Whew! Lots of running around. But it sure was nice to see all the folks we usually get to see only once or twice a year!

Vickie and John were on vacation over in the Netherlands this year, so Vickie bought Christine's girls Dutch clogs and a couple of those cute little Dutch hats with the braids. The girls weren't there yesterday, so Vickie was showing Christine the presents!

I'll tell you what - Christine cooked a lot of different food there at her Mom's house, and the rest of us ALL brought still more things to eat. Whew! It's a wonder we managed to drive back home without falling asleep in the car! Talk about "stuffed" !!

And tomorrow I will FINALLY get that second spinal injection! I want to believe that's all I'm EVER going to need, but regardless, I'm sure I'll feel a LOT better for the foreseeable future. Can't WAIT!
