Fences! . . . yippeee!!!

It was getting dark by the time I got home, but I had to take some pictures!  I am going to LOVE those fences. 

 The fence strips haven't been tightened up yet at this point (except the top one) -- that's why they look so wavy.  And there are going to be black rope-sized electric strands placed both above and below that bottom strip.  That should keep our dogs in and stray dogs out, I hope.  If not, well . . . we'll just add more electric strands between the other vinyl strips.  The breaking strength of those vinyl strips is just under 5,000 lb. per strip.  Each strip has three 12.5 gauge high tensile steel wires embedded in the vinyl at the top, center and bottom.  So short of a bulldozer or a tank, it should keep pretty much everything in and out as required, indefinately!

Now we just need to cut off the tops of the posts so they're all the same height, and add the solar lights on the sides of the front posts.  We're getting there!
